Joining cultures together is the ambition of the Legion theatre. The theatre wants to hold a function of a bridge between German and Polish culture. Through art this cooperation is a natural way of deepening their theatrical knowledge of both cultures. A team of professionals along with talent and imagination of the new generation brings our theatre far away from the banal theatrical world.
The natural beauty of Gods world is the best scenery for performances in which the directors idea is to demonstrate coexist between human and nature. In this sense the theatre goes away from the typical theatrical stage where there is limitation, and goes to the convention of open theatre which reaches for nature in which the theatrical stage is the surroundings.
The scripts must, apart from their literary value, have the truth, be the moral direction in looking for sense of human existence. There are texts which one cannot perform without being humble and being aware of humans place in cosmos. In this way Legion theatre is looking for Sacrum Mystery without which we cannot say this is true art. Our theatre doesn't play to existing texts, we are rather looking for our own scenarios and adaptations.
